Mountain bikes are available free to all our guests directly from the Hotel Fanes! Of particular interest: The cable ways and lifts in Alta Badia also transport mountain bikes – meaning that you can enjoy the high tours without the labours of the upwards climb.

Giro d´Italia
Every year, the Giro d´Italia leads along the Dolomite mountain passes - a true highlight during the Giro. Dedicated road bike fans can cycle along the most beautiful stretches of the Giro d'Italia here in Alta Badia – South Tyrol.

Maratona dles Dolomites
Approximately 10,000 cyclists participate at the Maratona dles Dolomites leading over the pass roads of the Dolomites! A true highlight for all cyclists!

Sella Ronda Bike Day
During the course of the Sella Ronda Bike Day, the 4 mountain passes around the Sella Mountain massif with 70 km of road and a difference in altitude of 1800 m are closed for traffic and opened for cyclists!

Dolomiti Bike Day
Since 2017 there is another event for cyclists: the Dolomiti Bike Day. The circular route, amidst fascinating natural landscapes, leads through some of the most attractive roads and well-known Dolomite passes in South Tyrol and Veneto.
